# Email Notifications

Update company-news and trading-news email preferences in the Tradeview Markets Cabinet.

Use **Email notifications** in Cabinet settings to control the marketing or news subscriptions shown for your account. This does not change the email address used to sign in or receive required account, security, or transaction notices.

## Update your preferences

1. Sign in to the Cabinet.
2. Select the settings icon at the bottom of the left menu.
3. Select **Email notifications** or the card labelled **Mailing subscriptions**.
4. Wait for the two switches to load their current positions.
5. Turn **Company news** on or off as you prefer.
6. Turn **Trading news** on or off as you prefer.
7. Check both switch positions one more time.
8. Select **Update**.
9. Wait for the Cabinet’s success confirmation before leaving the page.

## If the update does not save

1. Do not close the settings page while the update is being sent.
2. If the Cabinet shows an error, refresh the page and wait for the current switch positions to load.
3. Make the intended change again and select **Update** once.
4. If the error returns, use [Contact Support](/support/contact-support.md) and include the exact message shown.

Keep the Cabinet email address accessible. Required application, verification, security, and transaction updates can still be sent even when a news subscription is turned off.
