# Become an Introducing Broker

Apply to the Tradeview Markets Introducing Broker programme and prepare to use the IB Portal after approval.

Use the Introducing Broker application when you want to refer prospective clients to Tradeview Markets through the Tradeview Partners programme. This is separate from opening a personal trading account in the client Cabinet.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Tradeview services are not offered in the United States or to US Persons. Programme availability, eligibility, and required information can vary by region and applicant. Submit an application only if the programme is available to you.

## Before you start

Have access to an email inbox that you can open during registration. Be prepared to provide the contact, personal or business, and programme information requested by the application. If a field or document requirement is unclear, stop and ask the Tradeview Partners team before submitting inaccurate information.

## Apply step by step

1. Select **Start an IB application** above. The Tradeview Cabinet opens the IB registration flow.
2. Review the account or programme option shown on the first screen. Confirm that the page is for the Introducing Broker programme, not a standard client trading account.
3. Enter the requested email address. Use an inbox you control and can check immediately.
4. Create a password that meets the requirements shown on the page, then enter it again in the confirmation field.
5. Select the control that sends the email verification code.
6. Open the verification message in your inbox. If it is not visible, check spam or junk and wait for the delivery time stated on the page before requesting another code.
7. Copy the current code exactly into the verification field and continue only after the page confirms it.
8. Complete every required application field. Enter your own current details; if the form requests business information, provide it only when it applies to your application.
9. Read each declaration, agreement, and consent presented in the flow. Select an acknowledgement only when it is accurate for you.
10. Review the details for typing errors, then submit the completed application.
11. Save the confirmation screen or email. It is the record you should use if you need to contact the programme team about the application.

## After you submit

1. Watch the inbox used for registration for a decision or a request for more information.
2. Reply through the official channel if the IB team requests clarification or documents. Send only what the request asks for.
3. The Tradeview Partners site says applications are typically reviewed within 24–48 business hours. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed approval time.
4. If approved, look for the IB Portal access details sent by the programme team. The programme site says approved IBs receive portal login credentials by email.
5. Sign in to the [Introducing Broker Portal](/advanced-workflows/introducing-broker-portal.md) and confirm that your referral tools and any assigned programme information are visible before sharing a link.

## Once you are approved

1. Use the unique referral link or code shown in the IB Portal.
2. Share it only with audiences and in channels allowed by the programme terms.
3. Ask prospective clients to complete their own Tradeview application using the link or code.
4. Use the portal to review the available referral, performance, and rebate information.
5. Contact your Tradeview Partners representative or the official programme contact when a link, client status, payment item, or marketing material needs clarification.

## If something does not work

| Situation | What to do |
| -------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| The email code does not arrive | Check spam or junk, confirm the email address on the registration screen, and use the page’s resend option only after its stated wait time. |
| A required field is unclear | Do not guess. Use the official Tradeview Partners contact route for help before submitting. |
| You submitted the application but cannot sign in to the portal | Wait for the approval and credential email. IB Portal access is provided after approval, not simply after submitting an application. |
| You need a personal trading account instead | Use the [standard account-creation guide](/getting-started/create-an-account.md), not the IB application. |
