# Your First Login

Sign in to the Tradeview Markets Cabinet and complete the first actions on your account.

The Cabinet is where you view account status, complete document requests, create additional accounts, manage platforms, and start available funding actions.

1. Open the Cabinet sign-in page.
2. Enter the email address used during registration.
3. Enter your Cabinet password.
4. Select **Login**.
5. If two-factor authentication is enabled, open your authentication app, enter its current six-digit code, and continue.
6. After sign-in, wait for the Cabinet welcome screen to load before selecting an action.

## Complete your first-account checklist

1. In the left menu, select **Account**.
2. Select **Live accounts** or **Demo accounts** to locate the account you created.
3. If the Cabinet displays an application-progress or document card, select it and complete the item; see [Identity Verification](/getting-started/identity-verification.md).
4. Select **Platforms** and use [Trading Platforms](/accounts-and-platforms/trading-platforms.md) to open or download an available platform.
5. If funding is available for the account, select **Deposit** and follow [Deposits](/funding-and-transfers/deposits.md).
6. Select the settings icon at the bottom of the menu and set up [Multi-Factor Authentication](/security-and-settings/multi-factor-authentication.md).

## If you cannot sign in

1. Confirm you are using the Cabinet email address, not a trading-account number.
2. Re-enter the password carefully; password fields are case-sensitive.
3. Select the password-reset option if you do not know the password.
4. Follow [Password and Account Access](/security-and-settings/password-and-account-access.md) to request a reset code.
5. If you use Google or another external sign-in provider, use that provider’s sign-in method; its password is changed with that provider, not in the Cabinet.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Never share your Cabinet password or an authentication code. Tradeview support will not need either to help you find an account or application status.
