# EDGE for Forex Introducing Brokers

What EDGE means for introducing brokers: referring clients, existing clients under your IB, IB payouts in the launch phase and the micro-lot group.

## Refer clients to EDGE

Your referral link and the IB Portal work for EDGE as for any other account. A referred client chooses **EDGE** under **Account type** when they create the account in the Cabinet, or requests an EDGE demo on the [EDGE page](https://www.tradeviewmarkets.com/en/edge/). See [What is an Introducing Broker?](/introducing-broker/what-is-an-introducing-broker.md) and [Introducing Broker Portal](/advanced-workflows/introducing-broker-portal.md).

## Existing clients under your IB

A client account that sits under an introducing broker cannot be changed to EDGE. The client opens an additional EDGE account in the Cabinet and moves funds to it. See [Migrate an existing account](/edge/migrate-an-existing-account.md).

## IB payouts on EDGE

During the launch phase, EDGE accounts pay no IB rebates. Tradeview intends to open IB payouts on EDGE after the launch phase; your IB manager confirms the date and the terms. Payouts on ILC and XLev accounts do not change.

## The micro-lot group

Clients who need 0.01-lot orders on EDGE can be placed in a separate EDGE micro group. An introducing broker requests the permission for their clients; a client asks their broker. Availability is limited.

## Try EDGE yourself

Request an EDGE demo in the Cabinet or on the EDGE page, and compare the spreads and the commission with your clients' current accounts. Tradeview runs IB programmes on EDGE from time to time; ask your IB manager for the current ones.

The terms on this page apply to the launch phase of EDGE and can change. Your IB agreement and your IB manager are the reference for your payouts.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Trading involves a high level of risk and is not suitable for every investor. Losses can exceed the amount initially invested. Tradeview services are not offered in the United States or to US Persons.
