# EDGE FAQ: Symbols, Fees, Leverage

Answers on EDGE symbols, platforms, commissions, leverage, micro lots, base currencies, existing accounts, IBs, money managers and automation.

**I do not see any `.edge` symbols in Market Watch.**

Right-click inside **Market Watch** and select **Show All**. If the symbols are still missing, the account is not in the EDGE group. Check the account type on the account card in the Cabinet, and use [Contact Support](/support/contact-support.md) with the account number if the card shows EDGE.

**How do I know a trade is on EDGE pricing?**

The symbol name ends in `.edge`, and the **Commission** column on the trade line shows the flat commission. A trade on a symbol without the suffix is not on EDGE pricing.

**Is EDGE available on cTrader?**

No. EDGE is offered on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 only at this time.

**What is the commission?**

USD 4 per round turn on Forex and USD 6 per round turn on gold, per standard lot. Commissions on other instruments vary by instrument. See [EDGE terms](/edge/terms.md).

**Why is my gold commission different from my Forex commission?**

Gold is priced at USD 6 per round turn and Forex at USD 4. Each instrument has its own commission.

**What leverage do I get?**

Up to 1:100 on every instrument, including gold.

**Can I trade 0.01 lots?**

The minimum trade size is 0.10 lot. Micro lots are available in a separate EDGE micro group, by permission. Ask your broker or account manager.

**Which base currencies are available?**

USD, EUR or GBP. The base currency is chosen when the account is created; for another currency, open an additional account.

**Can I keep my ILC or XLev account?**

Yes. You can hold accounts on more than one model. Open an EDGE account in addition, or change the existing account to EDGE when it is flat. See [Migrate an existing account](/edge/migrate-an-existing-account.md).

**My account sits under an introducing broker. Can I switch it to EDGE?**

No. Open an additional EDGE account in the Cabinet and move funds to it.

**Can I open a second EDGE account?**

Yes, after the first EDGE account is funded.

**Do Expert Advisors work on EDGE?**

Yes. Attach the Expert Advisor to a `.edge` chart and check that the symbol names in its inputs use the `.edge` suffix.

**Does EDGE have an API?**

No. EDGE has no separate API. Automation runs through MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5.

**Can a money manager use EDGE?**

Yes. A MAM can run on EDGE with no minimum size. See [EDGE for money managers](/edge/for-money-managers.md).

**Do introducing brokers earn rebates on EDGE?**

Not during the launch phase. See [EDGE for introducing brokers](/edge/for-introducing-brokers.md).

**Why was my order filled in several parts, or at a price different from the quote?**

A larger order can be split behind your terminal into several fills across the liquidity providers and aggregated at the best available price for its size. The trade line shows the price you received. A fill can differ from the quote on the screen when the size of the order or the market at that moment justifies it.

**I get "Invalid account" when I log in.**

Use the exact server name shown on the account card in the Cabinet. EDGE accounts run on a dedicated server, and the login fails on any other server.
